So glad my sparring partner’s first fight is coming up in March. Daily runs of support on our indoor track started this week and it feels amazing. He out runs me with his athleticism and gigantor stride but just going and logging the time is a great motivator.
I’m not sure if I posted about it but I’ve had a knee injury that has kept me from being able to do much more than light elliptical, stretching, and boxing. I couldn’t do stairs without pain and squats were torture. So… yea, that weight gain was highly attributable to that + holiday eating.
But good news! I did 2 miles on the track yesterday!!! My pace is 13 mins or so… which for me is pretty sub par. But I’ll take it. I would have run longer but my knee started aching. I’m trying to take it slow and make sure I don’t get sidelined for another few months.
Can’t wait to get back to the Muay Thai grind come Tuesday. =) School starts up officially again Monday and I’ll be back doing Muay Thai, JuiJitsu, and FitClub. Yis.

Snowy Sunday run with the pup.
First day back to classes! So smiles. Many excite. Wow.
Yesterday: IDEK. Tortilla chips and salsa. Beef and peppers stew mom made. Some other shit. Urgh.
Today: Tim Hortons breakfast sandwich, chocolate chip muffin, coffee. (bfast) Coffee. (lunch) Chicken, broccoli, mushrooms, balsamic, bacon, water (dinner)
All aboard the struggle bus… This weekend bombed in a big way. I have been staying with my folks while I work this weekend and it’s just… urghh… I have to do it a few times a month and it always throws off my whole game plan because I’m too lazy to pack good food for while I’m there. Point blank… that’s why. =(
Anyways, I finally got home from my parents and back on track mid way through the day today. I’m back where I can cook for myself and have my own meals. I’m so glad I don’t have to commute back there to work until the second week in Feb. No excuses. I need to kick myself and cut it out.
Excuse me while I go cry, watch this video on repeat, and start over tomorrow.
So the one good thing about recording myself was that I had to talk through some of my dieting / lifestyle issues. I’m at a pretty low point right now so it was much needed. I’m all the way back up to 241!!
Can you believe it!!!? I was 285 beginning of this journey and 242 when I started this blog. After the blog started I was down to 203 and in this past April at my juijitsu tournament I was at 217…. and now… now I’m right back where I started. This is a wake up call. Guys… I have to get it together… URGH. /rant
So I made a vlog and it went something like… that… ROFL. I was in a face mask. It was rambly. There was lots of cursing and zero fucks given. Best I do the world a favor and keep it in the archives as a journal. No one needs or wants to see that shit. =D Thought I’d put the screens here for the LULZ tho. XD
